*Please note that not all fees defined below are applicable to every booking.  Only those that are required and allowed by law.

Additional Driver / Extra Driver - Fee for drivers in addition to the renter named in the contract.

Airport Concession Recovery / Airport Fee / Hotel Concession Recovery / Privilege Fee Recovery Charge - This charge covers the part of the fees that Your Auto Hub pays on each car rental for the right to do business at the airport, hotel or train station.

Airport Security Fee - Fee is charged if airport requires that all car rental companies collect this fee. The money collected is used to pay for additional airport security.

Busing Cost Recovery - This fee covers the access fees Your Auto Hub pays to the airport each time the rental customer flies into the airport and uses the courtesy bus.

Cleaning Fee - Charges when additional cleaning is necessary beyond routine cleaning.  Some situations when this fee can be assessed are: if there is presence of biowaste or bodily fluids, spills or waste that requires cleaning inside of vents or between the door panel and window or between seats or under seats, major stains or residue in the vehicle’s interior and would require steam cleaning or a full detail, an exessive amount of caked-on mud, dirt, sand, or insects which requires professional-level exterior detailing, pet hair is present, an excessive amount of trash. 

Collision Damage Protection / Collision Damage Waiver / Loss Damage Waiver - Applies to all vehicle damage to Your Auto Hub rental car, with exception of damages obtained through fraud, or through an accident resulting from use of the car in a manner prohibited by the rental agreement.

Deposit / Security Deposit - Held upon making a reservation to cover amounts owed to Your Auto Hub.  This includes, but not limited to, tolls, tickets, damages, or any other charges owed to us per your rental agreement.  Deposits may be held up to 10 business days or more after the completion of the reservation.

Facility Charge - Recovers the cost Your Auto Hub pays for usage of facilities required to operate.

Fuel and Service (F&S) - Charge for cost of fuel and refueling service if car is not returned at the same level of fuel from pickup.

Late Payment Fee - 2% late payment fee or the highest amount allowed by law, if lower, on all amounts past due.  1.5% per month interest, or the maximum amount allowed by state law, for monies due but not paid upon return of the vehicle

Late Return Fees - Vehicles returned 60-119 minutes late will incur a fee equal to half the daily rate and vehicles returned 120 minutes or more late will incur a fee equal to the full daily rate.

Loss of use - Recovers loss of revenue until the vehicle has been repaired.  This includes the times it takes to recover the vehicle, assess and get cost repair estimates, claims processing, shipment of parts, repairing the vehicle, and supplemental claims and repairs, if necessary.  This is calculated by the daily rate of the rental agreement times total number of days.

Operation & Maintenance Recovery Fee (O&M) - This fee covers expenses Your Auto Hub contributes toward the operation and maintenance of a running a rental business.

Parking Recovery Fee - This fee covers the cost Your Auto Hub pays to the location for parking access.

Pet Fee - Charged when pets, pet dander, pet odors, pet hairs, liquid or solid pet waste, or any other presence of pets are evident.

Premium Emergency Roadside Service (PERS) - Provides roadside assistance including lockouts, lost key, flat tire & mounting, and dead battery, among other services.

Renter's Liability Protection - Covers you for damages caused to other people's property and bodily injury. 

Rubber Disposal Recovery - This fee recovers the cost Your Auto Hub pays to dispose of rubber such as tires, weather stripping, rubber gaskets, rubber bumpers and stoppers, dampers and cusions, rubber isolators, etc.

Smoking Fee - Charged when smoking has occured, including, but limited to, any tobacco or tobacco-related products, marijuana or marijuana substitutes, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporizers.

Tax - Represents state and local sales tax on total rental charges.

Tire, Battery, and Solid Waste Disposal - Represent's solid waste fees, lead-acid battery disposal, and new motor vehicle tires.

Vehicle Licensing Recovery Fee - This fee covers the cost Your Auto Hub pays for registration, licensing and other related fees for applicable car rentals.

Vehicle Recovery Charges - Represents all costs required to recover a vehicle if repossessed or abandoned, including, but not limited to, mileage, towing, non-business hour rates, labor, and admin costs.

Utility Fee Charge - Imposed when an airport authority or municipality and is required to be collected by a rental car company from its customers.
